March Favourties

Hello, there my lovelies! I hope you all are having a lovely day. For once, I can honestly say I really don't know where the days are going. We are at the end of March and the beginning of April 2018 is nearly here! It has been very speedy indeed. I'm so excited for spring to come through as well the sun to make an appearance because the weather in Britain has been very dull, to say the least! I can't wait to whack out my summer wardrobe and put my knits away. I’m sure April will be a whirlwind with a lot of events coming up and exciting projects.

I must admit that I have been loving the same products that I mentioned in my Feb favourites as well, but there are a few odd items that I have been loving this month as well ( I also thought I should categorise the favourites). So without further or do, keep on reading...

Beauty

  • NYX soft matte lip cream 'toulouse' (£6.00): Now I picked this beauty up recently when I went shopping in Stratford. I heard about this product on Instagram when NYX announced that they were adding 12 new shades to their empire of lip creams and I couldn't help myself, but go and check them out! I put my hands up and honestly say that I cannot put this product down. It is such a beautiful mauve nude, which looks stunning on tanned skin. At first glance, you wouldn't think much off it, but once you apply it on your lips, you will thank me for recommending this product. I love the NYX lip creams in general, the formula is so comfortable, does not crack, stays on all day and is super affordable. what else could you possibly want?
  • BECCA backlight priming filter (£32.00): I picked up this product of the Cult Beauty website cause I really wanted to try out new primers as I only have a few in my collection. I was really drawn to this product because of the fact this claimed to bring light and dewiness to the skin, which I needed! I felt like I was missing that healthy glow to my face, but this product certainly gave that missing element. I take a generous pea-sized amount and work it into the skin just after applying my moisturiser. I let it sit for a minute or two, and then add my foundation on top. It just gives you that J-Lo glow girl!!! It gives that instant hydrated, boost of radiance as well as blurring away pores and imperfections. It is essentially a filter in a bottle and makes your foundation look flawless and smooth. I totally reccommend this product if you are on the hunt for a good pimer.

Fashion

  • MISSGUIDED Teddy coat (£55.00): This jacket I have been obsessed with for the last 2-3 months. I literally wear this 24/7. It is perfect for chilly days and adds an edge to any outfit you are wearing. The great thing is that it is comfortable yet chic and stylish all at the same time. I have seen nearly every beauty blogger rock their teddy coats in all different types of ways. I have certainly been on the teddy coat bandwagon and have worn mine out multiple times. It goes with nearly everything in my closet and is perfect to throw on!

  • Vans Women's Old Skool Trainer | Black / White (£54.99): These trainers I have not stopped wearing throughout March. Again, it is the essential piece that I think everyone should add to your collection. These trainers are super comfy and I love the edge it adds to any outfit. Whether you're wearing jeans and a jumper or a summer dress/skirt, these add the perfect touch. These trainers compliment any outfit and are so on trend right now!

Randoms

  • Accessorize silver rings (£18.00): I have been loving silver jewellery recently, and I have been obsessed with stacking little dainty rings. They add such a nice touch to anything that I'm wearing and I just wear them constantly. I was never really into rings but during March, I have been hooked to say the least.

Top 5 February Favs

Hello, my rays of sunshine! I hope you all are doing fabulous! I can't believe that we are in March! The days are flying by so fast. Can I just begin this blog by saying that 2018 has already been such a massive year for the beauty industry, with so many makeup products being released and collaborations with beauty influencers? I wanted to share some of the products I have been loving during February (most of these have been brought along from January).

This is magic in a bottle. I have been using this little product for a few months now and it has changed my skin! I use this stuff only at night as it's best to use this when you're not going to be exposed to sun straight after as this is an exfoliating serum (keep in mind that it is still important to use sunscreen during the course of this product). It contains 10% glycolic acid which removes dead skin cells, revealing fresh, new skin cells; this essentially is what gives you that 'glow'. I love this especially because I do have scarring and pigmentation, and I have seen a reduction in both since involving this product in my skincare routine. It makes your skin looking supple and hydrated thanks to the cucumber and aloe vera extracts. I like to apply this after I have washed, cleansed and toned my face and right before I apply my moisturizer. Some of you may think that the price is a little hefty, but I promise you this stuff works and it is worth the investment.

This concealer I bought a few weeks ago and I cannot stop wearing this stuff. Can I first start off by applauding Makeup Revolution for their shade range on their concealers, 18 shades everybody! This means whatever skin tone you are, you are able to find a  concealer best fit for your skin tone. I honestly didn't have high hopes for this product when I first got it considering it was only £4.00, but I was wrong. This concealer is high coverage and a little bit goes a long way. The consistency is perfect, it is blendable yet sets very nicely especially when set with powder. The shade is absolutely beautiful with the correct undertone, it adds light and coverage to all the problematic areas. For £4.00 you really can't go wrong, so if you're looking for a good drugstore concealer or a good concealer in general, then I truly recommend this bad boy!

What can I say about this product? Honestly, it just does the job. It stop lipsticks from bleeding and is super long-lasting. The formula of this lip pencil is lovely, it is super creamy and glides on beautifully on the lips. I have a few NYX lip-liners, but this shade in particular has me hooked! It is amazing with every nude lipstick I own (and some may say that I own too many hehe) and also looks stunning by itself with some lipgloss on top! For the £3.00, it is an absolute bargain for the quality and shade range of this product.

This lip cream is an absolute dream. I got this a few weeks ago and it turned into my everyday lip colour! I love wearing this by itself or sometimes I add a bit of gloss, just to jazz it up. This shade in particular is the perfect browny-nude colour. I can honestly say this product is a dupe for the NYX lip creams. The pigmentation of this product is good as you can definitely build it up to the intensity you desire. As the name states, this is a super hydrating lip cream and considering it has a matte finish, it is excellent news for someone like me who constantly suffers from dry lips. It is long wearing and perfect to throw in your handbag if you're someone on the go.

looking back, I really don't know how my life was before I owned this brush. This brush has changed my eyebrow game. It has made shapign and definign my eyebrows so much more precise and easy. This nifty tool has two end which is super useful, one has a spooley to comb through the brows and one angles brush side which is perfct for any brow product to glide on. I personally use my brow promade with this brush and it honestly is the best eyebrow tool ever!

I hope you enjoyed reading this post on the top 5 products I've been loving during Feb. Take care.
